After visiting the Royal Marsden hospital yesterday, it has been confirmed that I am on the best treatment pathway for the time being – eg Hit Him Hard with Constant Chemo – It’s cool guys I can take it…
It turns out that I am part of 15% of Upper GI cancer patients that have the her2 marker which means the cancer can be targeted directly with Heceptine.
The Heceptine attaches to the her2 receptors in the cancer and prevents the cells from reproducing. The Chemo then kills the cancer cells.
I will be on this for life and it looks like because my markers for her2 are strong then I should have good results from the treatment.
So I’m in hospital after a last minute appointment to receive my first six hour dose of heceptine.
Basically from today we have the cancer on the run.
Go fuck yourself cancer, the ginja ninja is coming for you.
Feeling especially energised and optimistic after the amazing drum healing session I had with a few good friends last night – drums = powerful medicine.
Hope you all have a good day and that something unexpected and positive comes your way.
Love all of your faces xxx
